NatureWise Ecology is an ecological consultancy based in the North West of England. With over 8 years experience, we specialise in habitat and protected species surveys. Providing our clients with friendly, expert advice that align with project goals and deliver in a timely fashion.
Our mission
We pride ourselves on our passion and knowledge of British wildife, using that to provide honest, pragmatic advice, ensuring synergy between ecology and development. We aim to provide the best service possible in a timeframe flexible to all projects.

Habitat
Surveys
Our habitat baseline surveys aim to identify the constraints for all individual sites at the habitat level and in more detail. We provide Preliminary Ecological Appraislas and Phase 1 Habitat surveys.
Protected Species Surveys
We provide a suite of protected species surveys including birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. All surveys are tailored to the specific needs of the client and their projects.
Biodiversity Net Gain Assessment
Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Assessments are now a requirement of all planning developments since February 2024. Each project must now increase biodiversity on site by a minimum 10%.
